The Path of Stones

Process

Every garden is crossed one stone at a time. Step along the path to see how a quiet, deliberate method turns a tangled site into ordered ground.

Stage I — Observe

I walk the whole garden first

Before a single stone is moved, I study how your site is built and how search engines travel through it. I map the hierarchy, the navigation, and the routes crawlers actually take — so every later decision rests on what is truly there, not on guesswork.

The Principle of Emptiness

The finest design is not one to which nothing more can be added, but one from which nothing more can be removed. I apply this same principle to search.

My aim is not to add more keywords or more pages, but to shape a structure so clean and so logical that it becomes invisible — yet flawlessly functional.

From Tangle to Garden

Structure

A website is a garden of pages. Drag the rake — watch a tangle of crossing links settle into a clean, crawlable hierarchy. Hover any stone to see where it belongs.

Completed Gardens

Cases

Each engagement begins as scattered stone and ends as ordered ground. Move across a garden to disturb it; it settles again on its own. The figures are illustrative.

Before

A professional-services firm: more than 1,000 pages with no clear hierarchy, internal links crossing without intent.

After

A clean topical cluster took shape. Pages found their place, and organic visibility rose by roughly 80% across two quarters.

Before

A regional retailer's knowledge hub: thin, scattered articles competing with one another for the very same terms.

After

Consolidated into a few authoritative pillars. Qualified organic sessions grew and the right pages began to lead.

Before

A growing platform: duplicate paths and parameter sprawl quietly spending crawl budget on pages that mattered least.

After

A streamlined, canonical structure. Indexation tightened, and the pages worth finding surfaced first.

Read Your Garden

A quiet diagnostic

Five honest answers about your site. The needle moves as you go — no data leaves your screen. It is only a mirror, to show where order is already taking root.

Questions in the Quiet

Before we begin

A few things worth saying plainly. Slide open any panel.

No. The practice is strictly advisory and analytical, focused on organic search and website structure. I do not run paid advertising, buy media, operate search-engine advertising, or manage client marketing accounts. What I provide is observation, assessment and guidance for you to act on.

No one can. Search engines own and constantly change the systems that decide rankings. What I can do is make your structure clearer and more logical, so your pages are easier to reach, understand and value. Any figures shown on this site are illustrative, never a promise of a specific result.

Generally, no. Much of the work studies your site's public structure and content. If you choose to share read-only analytics or search-console exports, they sharpen the reading — but I do not require or operate your marketing and advertising accounts on your behalf.

A garden settles in its own time. Structural changes are typically felt over weeks and quarters, not days, as search engines re-read and re-weigh your site. I set expectations honestly at the outset and watch how visibility responds.

Clear, written deliverables: visibility assessments, content-structure guidance, performance reviews, and structure-improvement plans — depending on the engagement. Each is practical advice you or your team implement, with the reasoning laid out so the decisions are yours to keep.

Any site that relies on organic visibility and would benefit from cleaner architecture — from content-heavy platforms to focused service sites. If pages are multiplying faster than the structure that holds them, there is usually a garden waiting to be raked.
